Domestic Prescriptions documents what people eat when they have nostalgic feelings of the homes that they have left behind when seeking either work or better lives elsewhere. Favourite foods are more than sustenance, the combinations of texture, taste and scent satisfy not only material needs but also spiritual comforts, recalling sanctuaries that one seeks to return to or to create wherever one may be in the world.
